The Great Ocean Road is the trip most Victorians take their out-of-town friends on. What's easy to forget is how worthwhile it is to slow down and actually stay. Lorne, Aireys Inlet, Wye River, and Apollo Bay each reward a few nights, surf in the morning, a long lunch, an afternoon at the lighthouse, and a fire by dusk.
